In May 2014, Dr. Roz Naylor, the Director of Stanford University’s Center on Food Security and the Environment (FSE), hosted a scientific symposium in Beijing, China for Western and Chinese scientists to discuss food security and marine fisheries. Approximately 30 scientists attended the symposium at the new Stanford University Center at Peking University.
Professor Naylor and Dr. Ling Cao will collaborate with symposium participants over two years on a series of peer-reviewed publications addressing symposium topics and develop research proposals to address the scientific needs identified at the symposium.
