The Lenfest Ocean Program is a grantmaking organization that funds scientific research projects addressing the needs of coastal and marine stakeholders. Our aim is to improve the impact of science on management and policy by harnessing our funding to:
- better understand the priority needs of decision-makers;
- increase collaboration between researchers and stakeholders; and
- foster constructive engagement with diverse communities around research results.
This video tells a story of how we work. It highlights The Lenfest Ecosystem Task Force, which provided guidance for developing and implementing Fishery Ecosystem Plans in the U.S. Caribbean and other regions.
