On March 24, 2022, we hosted a webinar featuring Dr. Ellen Hines, San Francisco State University, Dr. Maritza Sepúlveda, Universidad de Valparaíso, and Dr. Carlos Montenegro Silva, Instituto de Fomento Pesquero discussing the progress of their work, including preliminary results, to produce risk maps of marine mammal bycatch along the coast of Chile. Additional speakers included Bethany Frantz, Department of Geography & Environment, San Francisco State University, Fernanda Barilari, Instituto de Biología, Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad de Valparaíso, and Luis Cocas Gonzalez, Subsecretaría de Pesca y Acuicultura.
